About Our Company and Our Staff
Beeman’s Nursery was established in August 2000,
by Steve and Gracye Beeman and their son Forest. The Beemans had owned
and operated Ecoshores, Inc.for 22 years prior to its sale to Southern
Turf Nurseries of Alabama. Ecoshores provided and installed native
plants throughout the southeastern United States for golf courses,
mitigation, and native landscapes. Steve and Gracye’s daughter, Colette
Linsley, is the nursery’s comptroller and marketing director. This has
freed up Gracye to spend more time running her sewing store, The Sewing

Beeman’s Nursery continues the tradition of
providing native plants to the golf course, landscape, and mitigation
industries. We specialize in native grasses and aquatic herbaceous
plants. We have also expanded our product line to include some
ornamental grasses and we have several species of native plants that are
suitable for dunes and salt-affected sites. We have developed a floating
mat system for growing aquatic plants for bioremediation and aesthetics,
(US patent pending). We provide delivery at no charge within 200 miles
of our nursery. |
